Overseas Pakistani gets possession of land worth Rs 20 million

Due to the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, an expatriate Pakistani has got back possession of his land worth Rs 20 Million. This was informed by Commissioner OPC, Afzaal Bhatti while  presiding over the weekly meeting of officers of OPC .DG Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari,Additional DG Agha Yousaf,Directors Asad Naeem,Ishrat Ullah Niazi and other senior officers attended the meeting. Afzaal Bhatti told that Muhammad Haneef, settled in Kuwait, lodged a complaint that some persons have  captured his 2 Kanal ,10 Marla land, situated in Tehsil Pasrur, District Sialkot. This complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Sialkot and after hectic efforts of members of DOPC; Overseas Pakistani got back the possession of his land. Afzaal Bhatti further told that with the intervention of OPC, thousands of complaints of Overseas Pakistanis have been settled amicably
