Shop worth Rs. 20 million repossessed by OPC

Shop of an Overseas Pakistani, worth rupees 20 million has been retrieved from the illegal occupant, with the help of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab. Vice Chairperson OPC, Shaheen Khalid Butt told that Muhammad Abbas, settled in Trento, Italy filed a complaint with OPC that his tenant has illegally occupied his shop. This complaint was referred to District overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Gujranwala for further proceedings As a result of the efforts of DOPC members, the shop was got vacated from the illegal possession and handed over to its owner. VC OPC said that on the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, an IT based modern system has been adopted by OPC, for the speedy disposal and monitoring of the complaints of overseas Pakistanis.
