OPC helps vacate expatriate lady`s house worth Rs 20 million

Due to the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab,a house worth Rs 20 million, belonging to a UK based expatriate lady has been vacated from the illegal possession. Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti  informed in this connection  that Farhat Mumtaz settled in York Shire ,UK lodged a complaint with OPC that , some people have illegally occupied her 10 marla house in Gulshan e Ravi scheme Lahore ,with the help of her tenants . This complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Lahore. The committee members with the help of local police, got the said house vacated and handed it over to its owner. Brother of Farhat Mumtaz ,Imtiaz Ahmad has thanked Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Shariff and OPC Team for providing assistance to get the possession of  house. Afzaal Bhatti further told that so far half of the received complaints of Overseas Pakistanis have been settled.
