Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti have said that OPC is striving for the welfare of Overseas Pakistanis. With a view to early redress the expatriates complaints pertaining to Federal Government departments, OPC has developed close and continuous liaison with Federal Government institutions. Giving details in this regard Shaheen Khalid Butt and Afzaal Bhatti told that on the initiative of OPC Punjab, several Federal Government institutions including NAB, Ombudsman and Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) have nominated their focal persons to coordinate with OPC. The enhanced cooperation with these important institutions is providing better service-delivery to the Pakistanis living abroad. They told that joint collaboration of OPC and these agencies would help solve the issues faced by the Overseas Pakistanis relating to Federal Government ministries, divisions and institutions.
