Expatriate’s house worth Rs. 20 million retrieved

Due to the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, house belonging to an expatriate Pakistani, worth Rs. 20 Million has been got vacated from the illegal occupation of his brother. Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti while presiding over the weekly meeting of officers, informed that Muhammad Alam, settled in Germany filed a complaint that his real brother has forcefully captured his house in China Chowk, Gujjar town, Sialkot. This complaint was referred to Distract Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Sialkot for further proceedings. The members of DOPC made hectic efforts and got the said house vacated which was handed over to its owner. Afzaal Bhatti further said that with the assistance of district administration, Police and DOPCs, issues of Overseas Pakistanis are being settled on priority basis. DG OPC Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari, additional DG, Police matters, Agha Yousef, Directors Asad Naeem, Raja Zubair, coordinator Haji Nawaz and other senior officers attended the meeting.
