Ancestral land, shops of expatriate Pakistani, Worth Rs 9.5 million vacated

As a result of the efforts made by Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, 5 shops and ancestral land of an expatriate Pakistani, worth Rs. 9.5 million has been retrieved. Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti informed that Muhammad Umar, Settled in United Kingdom, filed a complaint that his close relative has occupied his 5 shops and ancestral land situated in Sohdara, Tehsil Wazirabad, District Gujranwala. This complaint was sent to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Gujranwala for further proceedings. Members of DOPC specially Adnan Chattha and Assistant Commissioner Wazirabad made hectic efforts and got the said land and shops vacated form the illegal occupant and handed over to its owner.
