Monthly progress meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission Ch. Waseem Akhtar to review the monthly progress of the commission here in G.O.R I. Meeting was attended by Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission Syed Khadim Abbas, Director General OPC Ishrat ullah Khan Niazi, Directors, Deputy Directors and dealing officers of OPC. Commissioner OPC gave a detailed briefing to the chair regarding progress made in resolving complaints. As per OPC Portal, 22599 complaints have been received so far, out of which 13989 complaints have been resolved which makes the resolved rate 62%. Important decisions were made to make the complaints redressal mechanism more effective.
