VC OPC calls on Special Assistant to PM Zulfiqar Bukhari

Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, Waseem Akhtar called on Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari in Islamabad and held talks to further enhance cooperation between Federal Government and OPC with regard to early solution of the problems of expatriates.  Waseem Akhtar apprised Zulfiqar Bukhari about the initiatives being taken for the welfare of Overseas Pakistanis by OPC and said that in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, OPC is being transformed on modern lines to settle the issues of expatriates in minimum possible time. On this occasion, Zulfiqar Bukhari assured that Federal Government will extend full cooperation to OPC to settle the problems of Overseas Pakistanis and in this connection, a joint strategy would be evolved in consultation with OPC.  While lauding the efforts of OPC to resolve the problems of Overseas Pakistanis, Special Assistant to Prime Minister said that this institution has exhibited exceptional performance to provide relief to expatriates.
