Delegation of OPWC UK visits OPC

A six-member delegation of Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council (OPWC) UK, headed by Farrukh Jamil, visited the offices of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab and held talks with Vice Chairperson Waseem Akhtar. Director General OPC Usman Anwar, Director Police Matters Imran Mehmood were also present on this occasion. Waseem Akhtar apprised the members of OPWC UK about the complaint redressal mechanism of OPC and initiatives being taken for the welfare of expatriate Pakistanis. He said that in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and under the gaudiness of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, all efforts are being exerted to resolve the issues of Overseas Pakistanis. OPC is engaged in providing various services to expatriates and effective measures are being taken to safeguard their rights. Members of OPWC delegation while lauding the efforts of OPC for providing relief to Overseas Pakistanis, said that this institution has exhibited exceptional performance to settle the issues of expatriates. Others members of delegation included Professor Masood Hazarvi, Daud Masud, Babar Chaudhary, Sahibzada Awais and Khuram Jamil. On this occasion members of OPWC presented shields to OPC management for providing relief to Overseas Pakistanis.
