Expatriate’s stolen car recovered with OPC help

The stolen car belonging to an expatriate Pakistani, has been got recovered with the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, while thief has also been arrested. Vice Chairperson OPC Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti informed in this regard that Syed Ali Haider Shah Bokhari, settled in United Arab Emirates, filed a complaint that his 2005 model car worth Rs 0.75 Million which was stolen from outside his residence in Revenue Society Lahore, be recovered. This complaint was referred to Additional DG, OPC, DIG Agha Yousaf, who made hectic efforts and got the said vehicle recovered which was later on handed over to its owner. The car thief Khalid Mehmood has also been arrested. Syed Ali Haider Shah has thanked OPC for providing help to recover his stolen vehicle.
