Expatriate gets back possession of plot worth Rs 17.5 million

An expatriate Pakistani has got back possession of his plot worth Rs 17.5 Million, with the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab. Vice Chairperson OPC, Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti informed that Tariq Mehmood, settled in Doha, Qatar, filed a complaint that some persons have forcefully occupied his one kanal plot, situated in Johar Town Lahore. He is a disable person, his plot be retrieved from occupants. Shaheen Khalid Butt and Afzaal Bhatti told that this complaint was referred to Additional DG, OPC, DIG, Agha Yousaf for further proceedings who made hectic efforts ad got the said plot vacated from the illegal occupants, which was handed over to its original owner. Tariq Mehmood has thanked OPC team for providing help to vacate his property.
