Overseas Pakistani gets possession of plot worth Rs 5 million

 As a result of the efforts made by Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, an expatriate Pakistani has got possession of his plot worth Rs 5 Million after four years. Vice Chairperson OPC, Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner, Afzaal Bhatti informed in this regard that Shahid Mehmood, settled in Canada, filed a complaint that he purchased a plot in a private housing scheme of Lahore and paid all installments. Housing scheme administration promised that plot would be handed over to him in 2013, but he is yet to receive the plot. Shaheen Khalid Butt and Afzaal Bhatti told that OPC contacted the administration of said housing scheme and ensured the provision of plot to Overseas Pakistani. They further told that expatriate Pakistanis can contact OPC any time for rederessal of their complaints.
