Expatriate’s shop worth Rs 50 million got vacated

Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab has got vacated  a shop belonging to an expatriate Pakistani, worth rupees 50 Million from the illegal possession of his brother. Vice Chairperson OPC ,Shaheen Khalid Butt  informed in this regard that Khalid Mehmud, settled in Saudi Arabia , filed a complaint that he had handed over his shop situated in main bazar Ghakhar Mandi, District Gujranwala to his real brother .When he demanded the return of shop,the brother flatly refused. This complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee, (DOPC) Gujranwala for further proceedings and after efforts of members of DOPC , the said shop was got vacated and handed over to its owner
