Expatriate Pakistani gets back Rs 11 million

Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab has emerged as a ray of hope for an expatriate Pakistani. Due to the efforts of OPC, the said Overseas Pakistani has got back his 11 million rupees. Commissioner OPC, Afzaal Bhatti informed that Gulzar Asmat Mirza, settled in United Arab Emirates, lodged a complaint that he gave Rs 20 Million to Muhammad Nasir of Chak, Noor Pur, District Okara for business purpose. After one and half year, when he demanded his amount back the said person refused to return. This complaint was referred to Additional DG OPC, DIG Agha Yousaf, who affected a compromise. According to which respondent Muhammad Nasir paid Rs 11 Million in cash to complainant Gulzar Asmat, while remaining amount will be paid in next three months. Gulzar Asmat Mirza has thanked OPC team to help recover his amount and termed OPC a great initiative of Chief Minister Punjab.
