OPC got recoverd expatriate’s property

With the intervention of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, the land belonging to an expatriate Pakistani worth rupees 2.5 Million has been got vacated. Commissioner OPC, Afzaal Bhatti told that Khalid Jafri, settled in California, USA, filed a complaint with OPC that some persons have illegally captured his 1 Kanal and 18 Marla land situated in chak Jaffar Ali Shah, Pakpatan. This complaint was sent to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Pakpatan and with the assistance of members of DOPC, the said land was got vacated and handed over to its owner. Afzaal Bhatti further said that so far half of the received complaints of expatriate Pakistanis have been resolved.
