OPC retrieves shops worth Rs 20 million

As a result of the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, 2 shops of an expatriate Pakistani, worth Rs 20 million have been retrieved from the illegal possession. Commissioner OPC, Afzaal Bhatti informed that Muhammad Arshad, settled in Brescia, Italy, lodged a complaint with OPC, that his brother in law has illegally occupied his 2 shops in Tehsil Phalia. This complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Mandi Baha-ud-Din for further proceedings. Members of the DOPC made hectic efforts and got the said shops vacated which were later on handed over to the original owner.
