OPC recovers 29 properties worth Rs 230 Million

Due to the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, as many as 29 Properties of expatriate Pakistanis, worth Rs 230 million have been retrieved from the illegal possession during the last one week. This was revealed by Vice chairperson OPC, Shaheen Khalid Butt while presiding over a departmental meeting. Director General syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari and other senior officers of OPC attended the meeting. Shaheen Khalid Butt told that the properties situated in Lahore, Okara, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, Jehlum, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal and Attock Districts were under illegal occupation. OPC with the assistance of relevant District overseas Pakistanis Committees (DOPCs) got the said properties vacated and handed over to their original owner. Shaheen Khalid Butt said that OPC is playing an active role to address the issues faced by Overseas Pakistanis and they can contact OPC, anytime, for the solution of their problems
